JOHAN

Johan has always viewed the world through a deeply sentimental, creative lens. His artwork embodies an intimate journey shaped by both beauty and the reality of living with extreme pain, allowing him to translate life into a poetic story of colour, rhythm, and design. Since his first commission in 2018, Johan has continued to capture the rawness of humanity, using light and movement to express emotion in its most honest form. His expressions come from a place that only some have ever been and would never choose to return, as he aims to communicate the depths of directionlessness to a place where hope may begin to emerge and yet still eludes.

KATHERINE

Katherine approaches creativity through the lens of form and structure, a perspective first shaped during her university years studying architecture, art theory, and the build environment. After more than twelve years in the industry, her focus gradually shifted to exploring the human condition itself, allowing these influences to interlace through her art. Her work is subtle, restrained, and intentionally simple. It draws on experiences of trauma, the quieting of one’s true self, and the gradual movement toward freedom of expression, all held within the four edges of a two-dimensional space. By communicating minimally, her reflections become even more restrained a reflection of reality, doing so out of necessity vs choice.
